PRIVACY BROWSER USE DISCLAIMER

BotBrowser is designed as a privacy-focused browser core for academic research, fingerprint protection validation, and authorized privacy testing that complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional ethics guidelines. TECHNOLOGY NOTICE

BotBrowser is a privacy protection technology designed to prevent fingerprint based tracking and user identification across platforms. Browser fingerprinting has been recognized as a privacy threat by W3C, major browser vendors, and EU regulators. Like any browser technology, it can be used responsibly or irresponsibly depending on the user’s intent and authorization.

The developers have created this technology for privacy protection purposes and expect all users to deploy it in authorized contexts only.

AGE RESTRICTION

This software is intended for use by adults (18+) in professional, privacy research, or research settings. Minors may only use this software under direct supervision of qualified educators or researchers as part of authorized privacy research programs.

AUTHORIZED USE CASES

This software is intended for legitimate purposes only:

PROHIBITED USES - SPECIFIC EXAMPLES

Unauthorized Financial Services Testing:

  • PROHIBITED: Testing against production banking systems without written authorization
  • PROHIBITED: Attempting to disable fraud protection mechanisms on payment systems
  • PROHIBITED: Using real or stolen credentials in any context

Terms of Service Violations:

  • PROHIBITED: Violating rate limit controls on public APIs
  • PROHIBITED: Defeating CAPTCHA protections on production websites
  • PROHIBITED: Automated account creation against ToS

Ticketing & Event Systems:

  • PROHIBITED: Automated ticket purchasing or unauthorized queue jumping that reduce fair access
  • PROHIBITED: Testing production ticketing flows without written authorization from the event operator
  • PROHIBITED: Using BotBrowser for ticket scalping that harms consumers

Data Harvesting:

  • PROHIBITED: Scraping personal information
  • PROHIBITED: Collecting authentication tokens
  • PROHIBITED: Bypassing anti-scraping protections

LEGAL & ETHICAL REQUIREMENTS

Institutional Approval

All users must obtain proper institutional approval and follow ethical research guidelines when conducting studies involving web services or user data.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction, including but not limited to:
